Dr. Vanessa Solis is a Plastic Surgeon and a specialist member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. She began her training in the United States, where she lived with her family for 18 years. After completing her undergraduate studies in Puerto Rico and graduating with honors, she was admitted to the University of Massachusetts, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, receiving the title of Biologist. In her final year, the doctor went on an exchange program where she spent a semester in Florence, Italy, studying Italian. Her fascination with the world and its cultures led her to become fluent in five languages.

Shortly after, she began her medical studies, which had always been her calling since childhood. “I never thought of doing anything else. Being a doctor was my only option. Practicing a profession that aimed to help others would be a dream and a privilege in my life.” After graduating in Medicine from the renowned Iberoamerican College in the Dominican Republic, she decided to return to Brazil to specialize in General Surgery and then Plastic Surgery. The doctor worked for approximately 8 years as a General Surgeon in several hospitals in Rio de Janeiro. “I am very proud to have dedicated some time in my career to saving lives in emergency rooms in Rio de Janeiro. This experience made me a stronger and better prepared person and left me with an indescribable feeling of accomplishment.”

Dr. Vanessa completed her postgraduate studies in Plastic Surgery at the Hospital da Plástica, where she gained extensive experience performing all types of surgeries, specializing in cosmetic surgeries. She has participated and continues to attend national and international conferences annually. “I constantly seek to update my knowledge by participating in courses and conferences, improving techniques and bringing the most modern technologies to my clinic and to my patients.”

Today, Dr. Vanessa Solis is the owner and medical director of the Vanessa Solis Clinic, which specializes in Plastic Surgery and cosmetic procedures.
